As we start a new year in the Masonic Fraternity I would like to wish the Brethren a healthy and prosperous new year. To all the poor suffering Secretaries in the Lodges world wide, bless you, and may you be granted the patience of Job and the Wisdom of Solomon.
To the Brothers of Pine Castle Lodge, thanks for checking out your new website. Use it to your advantage. I will do my best to keep you informed and I would greatly appreciate it if you would do the same for me. I need to be kept current on your address; we have had brothers suspended from Masonry because I was unable to contact them. I am unable to advise you of the important functions happening at your Lodge if I can’t get your trestle board to you. Each time I get a letter returned it cost the lodge ninety cents.
As you can see your lodge is finally getting into the computer age. As well as the website, we have an e-mail address, which you can access through our website. If you will contact me via e-mail with your e-mail address and maybe your mobile phone number it would make my life much easier and assist me in contacting you should there be a need. This information will be kept confidential.
It really hurt me that four of our Brothers had to be suspended this year for non-payment of dues; please don’t let that happen to you. A solution to this problem would be to purchase a Perpetual Membership, and then you never have to worry about the problem of suspension of non-payment of dues, increases of per capita tax, and you will be able to continue to help your lodge even after your demise.
